Disclosed is a compound of formula (1) where the substituents are as disclosed in the description. Example of compound of formula (1) are: 2-[4-(3"[18F]fluoropropoxy)phenyl]-6-methoxyimidazo[1,2-a] pyridine and 6-methoxy-2-[4-(3"-p-toluenesulfonyloxypropoxy) phenyl] imidazo [1,2-a] pyridine. Also disclosed is a low-toxic diagnostic agent for Alzheimers disease comprising a compound of formula (1) a pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of formula (1) and the use of a compound of formula (1) for the preparation of a composition or agent.
