The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition intended for making up the skin (face and body) comprising: (a) a sensory modifying system comprising at least one babassu polysaccharide； (b) at least one treated pigment； and (c) at least one light diffuser. Said cosmetic composition can be used for uniformly making up the skin, and when applied completely covers the region of the skin, adheres well, minimizes excessive shine, results in a smooth, satiny and velvety application to the skin, among other desired advantages for such a product. The present invention also relates to cosmetic products comprising said cosmetic composition. The present invention also relates to the cosmetic use of babassu polysaccharide as a sensory modifier.
