PURPOSE: A variable gain amplifier is provided to prevent a non-linear output property of a switching element by generating a control voltage controlling a Gm cell part. CONSTITUTION: A first current mirror(310) makes currents on first and second routes provided from the power source be mirrored. A current controller(320) performs a control operation in order to generate a differential current corresponding to a difference between bypassed currents from a first current. A termination current generating part(330) outputs a termination current of a preset size. A compensation current control part(340) inputs the termination current of the preset size to a termination current generating part by controlling the flow of a compensating current. A drive voltage generation part(350) provides a first driving voltage and a second driving voltage. A control voltage generation part(360) provides a control voltage to the compensation current control part. A second current mirror(370) makes the differential current and the control current be mirrored.본 발명의 실시예에 따른 가변이득증폭 장치는 전압을 제공받아 전류로 변환하여 출력하는 전압-전류 변환부； 상기 전압-전류 변환기의 출력 전류를 이용해 전달 컨덕턴스(Gm) 조절을 위한 제어전압을 생성하여 출력하는 Gm 컨트롤러； 및 상기 제어전압이 입력되는 스위칭소자를 포함하며, 상기 스위칭소자에 입력되는 입력 전압에 따라 출력 전류를 조절하여 출력하는 Gm 셀부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
