The device has corners (1) connected with each other by a fixed arch (6) and a movable arch (16), where the fixed arch is made from a single piece of rigid plastic material. The movable arch protects a patient in a stretcher by compensating inclination of a backrest of the stretcher. The movable arch is covered with a translucid plastic sheeting or cover (9). The corners are provided with eyelets for fixing the corners on a stretcher frame (4). A document carrying pouch (8) is fixed behind the backrest in a head of the stretcher. An independent claim is also included for a rigid plastic pouch and patient protecting device assembly.L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant d'être fixé sur tous les types de brancards existants, dans le milieu médical, à statut public (pompiers, smur, hospices civils) et à statut privé (cliniques,sociétés d'ambulances etc. ...). Il est constitué de deux cornières (1) et d'un arceau fixe (6) les reliant, réalisé en une seule opération de moulage par injection, en plastique rigide. Ce dispositif sera effectué par un serrage avec lacet (7) sur le châssis du brancard (4), sous le matelas (15) accueillant le patient. Ce serrage sera maintenu par un système à blocage rapide par relâchement à ressort. Sur ce dispositif se trouve fixé un second arceau inclinable (16) pour protéger le patient, compensant ainsi l'inclinaison du dossier en tête du brancard. L'ensemble du dispositif est recouvert d'une bâche en plastique translucide (9), assurant du fait la protection du patient des intempéries tout en maintenant une surveillance. Lors de la prise en charge du patient, la pochette (8) accueillant l'invention repliée au stockage, aura en seconde fonction de protéger le dossier médical du patient. Cette pochette sera ensuite fixée sur la joue arrière (14) par boutons-pression en tête du brancard.
