PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hierarchical menu display device for enabling a user to easily perform the setting operation of equipment by intuitively and intelligibly displaying a relation between an upper hierarchy input menu and a lower hierarchy input menu with a small number of times of operations until a target function menu is operated.SOLUTION: When an upper hierarchy input menu is operated, a plurality of lower hierarchy input menus belonging to the upper hierarchy input menu are displayed on another screen, and the lower hierarchy input menus are displayed in the frame of the upper hierarchy input menu, and the number of the lower hierarchy input menus arranged in the frame of the upper hierarchy input menu is made smaller than the number of the plurality of lower hierarchy input menus displayed on the other screen when the upper hierarchy input menu is operated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】目的の機能メニューを操作するまでの操作回数が少なく、かつ、上位階層入力メニューと下位階層入力メニューとの関係を直感的に分かり易く表示することにより、ユーザーが容易に機器の設定操作を行うことができる階層型メニュー表示装置を提供すること。【解決手段】上位階層入力メニューが操作されると当該上位階層入力メニューに属する複数の下位階層入力メニューを別画面で表示し、かつ、上位階層入力メニューの枠内に下位階層入力メニューを表示し、かつ、上位階層入力メニューの枠内に配置される下位階層入力メニューの数を上位階層入力メニューが操作されたときに別画面で表示される複数の下位階層入力メニューの数よりも少なくする。【選択図】図2
