PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating dairy product manufacturing facility by which water, detergent or energy required in cleaning can be reduced.SOLUTION: A method comprises: a heating process of heating raw material liquid containing a milk component by a heat exchanger 10 and a rinse process of allowing partitioning water to circulate through the heat exchanger 10 after executing the heating process to a predetermined amount of raw material liquid and before executing the heating process to the next predetermined amount of the raw material liquid.
