PURPOSE: A pepper DC1 domain containing CCCH-type zinc finger gene 1(CaDC1) gene and a method for detecting disease resistance in a plant using the same are provided to identify plant disease resistance mechanism. CONSTITUTION: A gene(CaDC1) encoding a plant disease-associated zinc finger derived from Capsicum annuum contains a gene encoding a protein having an amino acid sequence of sequence number 2 or a gene having a base of sequence number 1. The CaDC1 has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 2. A recombinant vector contains the gene(CaDC1). A method for detecting resistance in a plant comprises a step of isolating mRNA from a plant transformed by the recombinant vector and identifying expression of CaDC1.본 발명은 고추식물에서 발생하는 병에 대한 방어반응에 관여하는 C3H1 형태의 징크핑거 (pepper DC1 domain-containing CCCH-type zinc finger gene 1, CaDC1) 유전자 및 이를 이용한 병 저항성에 기여하는 형질전환 식물체 제작 및 식물체 저항성 탐색방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 상기 유전자는 병원균의 공격에 대한 식물체의 방어 반응 및 병저항성 식물체의 효율적이고 효과적인 분자적 육종을 위한 유전재료로서 유용하게 사용될 수 있으며, 식물병 저항성에 대한 탐색 및 작용 기작을 규명하는 도구로 이용될 수 있다.
