PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a living body which makes close contact with a living body regardless of a region to be measured.SOLUTION: The electrode 100 for a living body is configured to cover the circumference of a holding part 20 having a resilience and a thickness such as a sponge with a detecting part 10 having conductive properties and flexibility such as a fabric made of a conductive fiber for detecting the difference in electrical potentials of the living body. In addition, the electrode 100 is disposed inside clothes to make contact with the living body.
