An ultrasonic transducer having a matching layer made of oxide powder is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the ultrasonic transducer comprises: an active element and a matching layer configured to match sound impedance between the active element and an object to be inspected. The matching layer is made of a composition in which oxide powder having the content of 10 to 35% is mixed in an epoxy resin wherein density of the composition is less than 6.5 (g/cm^3).COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016산화 분말로 구성된 정합층을 가진 초음파 트랜스듀서가 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 초음파 트랜스듀서는, 능동소자와, 능동소자와 피검사체 간 음향 임피던스를 정합하는 정합층을 포함하며, 정합층은 에폭시 수지에 밀도가 6.5(g/cm3) 미만인 산화 분말(oxide powder)을 10 ~ 35%의 함량으로 혼합한 조성물로 구성된다.
