This package is provided with: a syringe provided with a barrel part capable of being filled with a liquid, and a needle which is attached to the tip end of the barrel part, and which discharges the liquid； a cap for covering the needle； and a housing for covering at least the base end of the syringe. The package accommodates, between the cap and the housing or the outer peripheral surface of the cap, a liquid injection instrument provided with a stepped part which protrudes further outwards than the side surface of the barrel part. The package is provided with a container which is provided with: an accommodation space for accommodating the liquid injection instrument； and an opening for removing the liquid injection instrument from the accommodation space. The container is capable of having, attached thereto, a sealing member for sealing the opening. The container is provided with an engagement part which engages with the stepped part in order to remove the cap from the liquid injection instrument.
