PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type rice planting machine that has a smaller number of components than a conventional one and a simple structure, and operates a main clutch in linkage with a stand regulating the movement of a float.SOLUTION: The walking type rice planting machine 1 is provided with: a main clutch/stand operation mechanism 180 for operating a stand 15 and an engagement arm 163. The main clutch/stand operation mechanism 180 is provided with: a wire member fixed to the stand 15 at one end an engagement member 182 that is fixed to a middle part of the wire member and is engaged with the main clutch 16 a spring member that is arranged at a middle part of the wire member and at a position closer to one end of the wire member relative to the engagement member 182 and an operation member 190 to be connected to the other end part of the wire member.
