PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ant-killing composition capable of efficiently controlling ants and an ant-killing method using the same. SOLUTION: The ant-killing composition contains monfluorothrin and silafluophene as active ingredients, and the ratio of monfluorothrin and silafluofene is 10 to 1000 parts by mass of monfluorothrin to 100 parts by mass of silafluofen, and the above. A method for ant killing, wherein the active ingredient monfluorothrin in the composition is applied in an amount of 1.5 to 1000 mg per m 2 and the silafluofene is applied in an amount of 2.5 to 2000 mg per m 2.
