The present disclosure provides a crimping method and a crimping structure for an endovascular stent. The crimping method includes steps of: preparing a crimping structure including a to-be-crimped stent, a supporting mandrel arranged inside the to-be-crimped stent, and a stopping pipe sleeved onto the to-be-crimped stent; and crimping the crimping structure in accordance with a first predetermined crimping configuration, until the to-be-crimped stent is attached to the supporting mandrel and a force value from a crimper reaches a first predetermined value.
