PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technologies for preventing heat and controlling diseases and pests in a barn, capable of protecting the livestock from heat and disease and pests more easily and at a low cost, and capable of retaining the health and productivity of the livestock at a high level.SOLUTION: The method for preventing heat and controlling disease and pests in the barn is characterized by setting a net with meshes, in which a water film can be formed, in an outside air opening part of the barn, and forming the water film by an insecticide solution with a solid or powder nonvolatile insecticide dissolved in water. After setting the net, the insecticide solution or water is sprayed or applied to the meshes to form the water film. Further, a water film is formed on a net shielding the south side of the barn.【課題】より簡単に、また低コストで家畜を暑さと病害虫から防護して、当該家畜の健康と生産性を高く維持することができる畜舎の防暑・防除技術を提供する。【解決手段】畜舎の外気開放部に、水膜が形成可能な網目からなるネットを設置すると共に、固形または粉末の不揮発性殺虫剤を水で溶解した殺虫液により前記水膜を形成することを特徴とした畜舎の防暑・防除方法である。また、ネットの設置後、網目に水膜を形成するように殺虫液または水を噴霧または塗布したものである。さらに、畜舎の南面を遮蔽するネットに水膜を形成するようにしたものである。【選択図】図１
