PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous cleansing cosmetic which can easily remove fats and oils staining such as a makeup without stimulating the eye mucosa and inhibits a sticky feeling after being wiped off.SOLUTION: The aqueous cleansing cosmetic includes (A) water, (B) a polyoxyethylene glyceryl fatty acid ester, (C) diethoxyethyl succinate, (D) a polyether-modified silicone, and (E) a straight chain silicone and/or a cyclic silicone. It is preferred that the polyoxyethylene glyceryl fatty acid ester is polyoxyethylene glyceryl (caprylic acid/capric acid) ester and/or polyoxyethylene glyceryl coconut oil fatty acid ester and the HLB of the polyether-modified silicone is 4-8.
