PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement support device capable of not only reducing a burden on a user but also reducing a burden on a care giver.SOLUTION: Buffer pads 17R, 17L for a user to place elbows thereon and a saddle 44 for a user to be seated thereon are arranged so as to be lifted/lowered with respect to a carriage 11. Linear actuators 20R, 20L lifting/lowering buffer pads 17R, 17L are arranged between the carriage 11 and the buffer pads 17R, 17L, respectively. A linear actuator for saddle 45 lifting/lowering the saddle 44 is arranged between the carriage 11 and the saddle 44. Thereby, the movement support device can support a user to stand up in a state where the user is seated on the saddle 44 and places elbows on the buffer pads 17R, 17L.
