The present invention addresses the problem of providing a purification column with extremely exceptional performance in terms of removing material to be purified, and providing a method for manufacturing the purification column. The solution lies in a purification column comprising a tubular casing in which partitions are formed at both end parts, hollow fibres being housed inside of the casing, and both end parts of the hollow fibres being secured to the partitions in a state in which said end parts open outside the partitions. The purification column comprises perforations in the partitions at both end parts of the casing, said perforations running through the partitions and providing communication between the inside and the outside of the casing.
