Hydrophobic liquids are microencapsulated by an enteric matrix in an environment substantially free of organic solvents. The process includes forming an emulsion of the enteric material and hydrophobic liquid in water, titrating the emulsion with an acid to form a particulate precipitate and optionally coating the particulate with a combination of enteric material and plasticizer.Líquidos hidrófobos son micro-encapsulados por una matriz entérica en un ambiente sustancialmente libre de solventes orgánicos. El proceso incluye formar una emulsión del material entérico y líquido hidrófobo en agua, titular la emulsión con un ácido para formar un precipitado de partícula y opcionalmente revestir las partículas con una combinación de material entérico y plastificante.
