The absorbent article further includes a pair of flaps provided to both sides of the absorbent article in a lengthwise direction, a first area containing a blood lubricity-imparting agent, and a second area containing a blood lubricity-imparting agent. The first and second areas are provided to at least an excretory orifice contact area of the top sheet and to the pair of flaps. A basis weight of the blood lubricity-imparting agent in the first area is greater than the basis weight of the blood lubricity-imparting agent in the second area.
