The reflection device (100, 200, 308) comprises a stack of layers in co-planar relationship and defining a longitudinal axis normal to the incoming light (102, 210, 304). The stack of layers receives the incoming light (102,210,304) and comprises for each of the primary light colours a transmissive modulating layer (108, 116, 124, 202, 204, 206, 314, 320, 326) and a colour sensitive reflective layer (110,118,126,214,222,230,310,316,322).
