To provide a supporter which achieves both stability of the knee joint during walking, and easiness of stretching the knee joint.SOLUTION: An air compression type supporter includes: an upper belt-like part winding around the thigh of a user a lower belt-like part winding around the lower leg of the user a first column part in the one lateral part of the knee joint of the user, connecting the upper belt-like part and the lower belt-like part a second column part in the other lateral part of the knee joint of the user, connecting the upper belt-like part and the lower belt-like part and a valve part for putting air into and from the upper belt-like part, the lower belt-like part, the first column part and the second column part.
