Such a method makes it possible to estimate one or more quantities of interest relating to one or more components in order to produce a graphic representation describing the said quantity or quantities of interest in order to provide assistance in the diagnosis of a pathology. The method (100) is implemented by a unit for processing an electronic object of a system for assisting in the diagnosis of a pathology according to the invention.
