A respiratory mask arrangement can include such a respiratory mask a hat arranged on the head of the patient and fastening means which cooperate with the fastening tabs and with the hat in order to fix the respiratory mask to the head of the patient. A respiration system can include such a respiratory mask arrangement and a respiration device for producing a continuous positive airway pressure. A packaging unit can include such a respiratory mask having a border with a peripheral groove a sealing means which is arranged in the peripheral groove and a protective film for covering the sealing means.
