A motorised pram, stroller, pushchair, or buggy 201 has first and second electric motors 206 and 207. Each motor is configured to drive and rotate a respective wheel 203 of the pram. The pram also includes a control module 208 which operates the two electric motors with each wheel being configured to operate independently of each other. Each wheel may comprises a gearing system and the control module provides a signal to each electric motor to move the pram sequentially in first and second directions which are opposite to each other. The motorised pram may comprise a processor and a power source, said power source may be a rechargeable battery which is removable. The motorised pram may also have an interface module 209 which may be wirelessly connected to control the pram via the control module.
