The present invention relates to an absorbent composition exhibiting swelling, de-swelling and re-swelling behavior. More specifically, the absorbent composition of the present invention swells and absorbs the fluid after exposure to the aqueous fluid, and de-swells to release the fluid from the swollen absorbent composition, and also re-swells to absorb the fluid.
