The present invention relates to an automatic feeding apparatus for a sow. The apparatus comprises: a feeding unit having a feedbox for storing feed which is supplied through a feed transfer pipe of a feed storage tank； a control unit for controlling the operation of a motor operated to discharge the feed in the feedbox, and controlling the adequate amount, number of times, or interval of feed supply； a feed bucket for storing the feed discharged from the feeding unit； and a sensing means which is mounted on the feed stored inside the feed bucket, and provides information to the control unit by generating an electric signal when the sow touches the sensing element while eating the feed. The present invention can increase productivity by enabling a sow to be raised in an optimal state while minimizing manpower and working time required for raising the sow.본 발명은 모돈의 자동 급이장치에 관한 것으로, 사료 저장탱크의 사료이송파이프를 통하여 공급된 사료가 저장되는 사료통을 구비하는 사료급이부와, 상기 사료통의 사료를 배출하기 위해 작동하는 모터의 구동을 제어하며, 적정 사료공급량, 공급횟수 또는 공급간격을 제어하는 제어부와, 상기 사료급이부에서 배출된 사료가 저장되는 먹이통과, 상기 먹이통 내부에 저장되는 사료에 얹혀지며 모돈이 사료를 먹으면서 건드리면 이 동작에 의해 전기적 신호를 발생하여 상기 제어부에 정보를 제공하는 감지수단을 포함함으로써, 사료를 자동으로 조절하여 모돈(母豚) 사육에 소요되는 인력 및 노동시간을 최소화하면서 모돈이 최적의 상태에서 사육되게 함으로써, 생산성을 향상시킬 수 있도록 하는 효과가 있다.
