An illumination unit (70) includes a distal end frame member (51) having a through opening (52), a plurality of illumination sections (71), a holding member (73) which is arranged in the through opening (52) and holds the illumination sections (71) to incline the illumination sections (71) at a desired angle with respect an opening surface (52a) of the through opening (52) and to form a cascade along the axial direction of the through opening (52), and a reflective member (75) which is configured to reflect the illumination light emitted from the illumination sections (71) toward the opening surface (52a), the reflective member (75) being held by the holding member (73) to face the illumination sections (71) and to apply the illumination light externally emitted from the illumination sections (71) from the inside of the through opening via the opening surface (52).
