PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mammography apparatus capable of improving removal performance of the stripes of an X-ray grid.SOLUTION: The mammography apparatus comprises the X-ray grid, an oscillation mechanism, and a controller. The X-ray grid removes scattered X-rays. The oscillation mechanism oscillates the X-ray grid in a direction orthogonal to the direction of the foils of the X-ray grid. The controller performs control to vary the oscillation speed of the X-ray grid by the oscillation mechanism, in accordance with the photographic condition of an X-ray image by the apparatus.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
