PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt-like body which can accurately bring a crotch member such as a disposable diaper into contact with the crotch of an animal, and make excrement such as urine excreted from the animal hardly leak from the crotch member.SOLUTION: A belt-like body (1) includes: a central region which is positioned in the center in the longitudinal direction and corresponds with the abdominal region of an animal when attached； a first region which extends to an interval between one side end edge part in the longitudinal direction and the central region, and corresponds to the back part of the animal when attached； and a second region which extends to an interval between the other side end edge part in the longitudinal direction and the central region, and corresponds to the back part of the animal when attached.
