This invention relates to an artificial piper betel leaf, mainly utilizing an edible material which is processed by biotechnology means to provide an appearance similar to a piper betel leaf or edible paper, as the main chewing material. The edible material is mixed with edible flavor or pigment during forming process, and the edible flavor can be formulated by mixing at arbitrary ratio of red lime, white lime, Chinese herbal medicine, leaf seasoning, fruit flavor, fructose, liquor, etc. The edible pigment can also be chosen from any color matching.
