An embodiment of the present invention relates to a composition for preventing, treating or improving a food composition for the prevention or treatment of neuroinflammatory diseases comprising a leek extract as an active ingredient. The composition according to an embodiment of the present invention may inhibit the production of nitric oxide, as well as suppress the expression of tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α). The expression of arginase was activated and BDNF production was promoted.
