The sodium perborate compound, which as an oxidizing agent, will be the reactive oxygen donor, with the function of controlling the infection in the fermentative process of manufacturing ethanol and its derivatives, deals with the use of sodium perborate. as an oxidizing agent, and oxygen donor, in combating the infections that occur in the fermentative process in the manufacture of ethanol (hydrated or anhydrous) from sugar cane, sorghum, corn or any other biomass or even more. In the process in use of this new application of sodium perborate, it will release oxygen, which in turn will act on the bacteria's membrane, due to its lipophilic affinity, since in the majority of bacteria found in this segment, they are phospholipid membrane lactobacilli. Using this oxidizing agent avoids the excessive use of sulfuric acid and antibiotics, and thus controls contamination in these fermentative processes. It is based on the use of this sodium perborate molecule, which after being diluted in water or directly in the yeast will release reactive, bactericidal oxygen to fight infections that normally occur in ethanol manufacturing processes, thus improving industrial efficiency.
