PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic probe.SOLUTION: An endoscope probe is made available. The endoscope probe comprises: a handle with a front end (5), a rear end with a rear end axis, and a straight grip extending between the front end (5) and the rear end and having a grip axis a shaft extending from the front end (5) of the handle and having a shaft axis and a cable issuing from the rear end. The shaft axis, the rear end axis, and the grip axis lie within a common plane.
