PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fentanyl containing dosage forms and methods for using the same.SOLUTION: Effervescent tablets include: about 100-800 &mu；g of fentanyl (calculated as free base) or an equivalent amount of salts thereof； an effervescent material in an amount of about 5-85 wt.% of the dosage form； a pH adjusting substance in an amount of about 0.5-25 wt.% of the dosage form, and a starch glycolate in an amount of 0.25-20 wt.% of the dosage form. The formulation is suitable for delivery of the fentanyl across the oral mucosa of a patient by gingival or sublingual administration, and advantageous in terms of a cost and side effects since the amount of fentanyl required for dosing is substantially lower than that of a known oral formulation.【課題】フェンタニル含有投薬形態およびその使用方法の提供。【解決手段】フェンタニル遊離塩基として計算して約１００μｇ～約８００μｇのフェンタニルまたは同量のその塩と、投薬形態の約５重量％～約８５重量％の量の発泡性物質と、投薬形態の約０．５重量％～約２５重量％の量のｐＨ調整物質と、投薬形態の約０．２５重量％～約２０重量％の量のグリコール酸デンプンを含む発泡性錠剤。本製剤は歯内投与または舌下投与による患者の口腔粘膜を介した前記フェンタニル送達に適しており、公知の経口処方物よりも実質的に少量のフェンタニルで済むことから費用および副作用に関して有利である。【選択図】なし
