PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overtube usable for an endoscope of a different effective length without lowering strength.SOLUTION: The overtube includes: a flexible overtube body 2 provided with a distal end opening and a proximal end opening, extended in a longitudinal axial direction, and provided with a pipeline 6 for an endoscope, to which the endoscope is inserted from the proximal end opening a balloon 3 provided on the distal end side of the overtube body and an air supply tube 4 whose one end is communicated with the balloon and other end is communicated with an air supply pump 8 which sends air to the balloon.
