PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel seat which can eliminate a stepped portion between a movable hood and a seat base as much as possible, and can dissolve troubles that a hand receives a feeling of pressure and has a pain by long time use of the reel seat, even when an angler grips both a reel leg portion and the reel seat.SOLUTION: The reel seat is formed with recessed engaging groove portions 4C parallel to the axis of a reel base 4 on the outer peripheral surface of the seat base 4, formed with notch grooves 5b in a direction separating the peripheral wall of a movable hood 5 from a surface facing a fixed hood 3 into a comb tooth-like shape, and has the comb tooth-like portion 5A in the peripheral wall of the movable hood 5, engaging to the engaging groove portion 4C, and moving in the engaging groove portion 4C with the movement of the movable hood 5.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】可動フードとシートベースとの段差部分を出来るだけ解消し、リール脚部とリールシートとを伴握りする場合であっても、手が圧迫感を受け、長時間の使用で痛くなる等の不都合を解消することが可能なリールシートを提供する。【解決手段】シートベース4の外周面に、シートベース4の軸芯に平行な係合溝部4Cを凹入形成し、可動フード5の周壁を、固定フード3に対向する面から離れる方向に向けて切欠き溝5bを設けて櫛歯状に形成するとともに、可動フード5の周壁における櫛歯状を呈する櫛歯部分5Aを、係合溝部4C内に係入し可動フード5の移動に伴ってその係合溝部4C内を移動すべく構成してある。【選択図】図1
