PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article inhibiting the positional shift of an elastic member disposed in a side connection part or coming off of the elastic member from the side connection part.SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 has a rear waist region provided with a fastening member extending outward in a width direction, and an outer surface positioned on the outside of the rear waist region is provided with a target portion on which the fastening member is fastened. The target portion has a lamination of a first nonwoven fabric layer including a melt-blown nonwoven fabric layer, and a second nonwoven fabric layer disposed outside the first nonwoven fabric layer and formed of a through-air nonwoven fabric layer, and the target portion is formed with compressed portions formed by compressing the laminated first nonwoven fabric layer and second nonwoven fabric layer in thickness directions.
