PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper for effectively preventing heat rash, etc., in a part where the heat rashes, and eczema, etc., are easily generated.
SOLUTION: The disposable diaper includes: an absorbent body 23 for absorbing a body fluid and a water-absorbent expansible material 30 which absorbs moisture and is expanded/contracted. The water-absorbent expansible material 30 includes: an expansible base sheet 40 and multiple individually independent absorbing parts 50 which are arranged on the upper surface of the base sheet 40. The absorbing parts 50 are fixed to the base sheet 40 via fixing points 53. Then, the water-absorbent expansible material 30 is expanded/contracted between the respective fixing points 53.
