PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a narcotic drug storage apparatus 10 capable of being easily opened/closed without being lifted up or down when the storage apparatus is opened/closed even if a top plate 26 is a door so that a storage space 27 inside a narcotic drug storage compartment 20 can be photographed from above by an imaging device 13.SOLUTION: The top plate 26 is connected to a swingable vertical plate 22 which is connected to the narcotic drug storage compartment 20 via a vertical axis hinge 21. As the vertical plate 22 swings, the top plate 26 laterally moves and advances to a position just above a drug port of the storage space 27, whereby the drug port of the storage space 27 is opened/closed. Images to the upper surface of the top plate 26 are captured by the imaging device 13.
