The sanitary napkin (1) is provided with a wing forming body (10) firmly held between the top sheet (3) and the back sheet (4). The wing forming body (10) is provided with wing forming members (11L, 11R) for forming a pair of wings (12L, 12R) which respectively extend outward beyond the left and right side edges (2L, 2R) of the absorbing main body (2). The wing forming members (11L, 11R) each comprise two intermediate sheets (13T, 13B) which are superposed on each other, and each absorbing body (5) is held between the intermediate sheets (13T, 13B) of each wing forming member (11L, 11R).
