The present invention provides a novel pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of dry eye conjunctivitis comprising a liquid vehicle comprising one or more partially fluorinated alkanes. The composition comprises an active ingredient selected from the group of macrolide immunosuppressive agents. They can be administered topically in the eye.
