A description is given of a formulation for rodenticide bait, with controlled degradation, comprising at least one ACTIVE INGREDIENT (A) made up of a coumarin derivative, carried in at least one solvent, preferably palatable a SOLID MATRIX (B) comprising at least one palatable substance at least one organic ACID (C) soluble in water, preferably solid, able to increase the concentration of H+ ions when the water, in any form, comes into contact with said formulation a solid BASIC SUBSTANCE (D), capable of developing preferably acid substances when the water, in any form, comes into contact with said formulation containing said acid (C), so as to create an acidic environment to promote at least the decomposition of said active ingredient (A) and optionally one or more CO-FORMULANTS.
