The present invention relates to a seaweed seed string binding device. The device comprises: a rope pulling part (10) intermittently pulling a rope (R) at regular intervals through the rotation of a motor (11) while having the rope (R) inserted between a pulley (12) and a pinch roller (13)； a rope opening part (20) holding both sides of a predetermined section of the rope (R), which has been pulled by the rope pulling part (10), through holders (22, 24), and then, opening twisted strands of the rope (R) by narrowing a gap between the holders (22, 24) while moving the holder (24) horizontally； a seed string supply part (30) placed in a side of the rope opening part (20) to supply a predetermined length of a seed string (S) to a tongs cylinder (32)； a seed string pulling part (40) placed in the other side of the rope opening part (20) to face the seed string supply part (30) to hold the seed string (S), which has been supplied to the seed string supply part (30), through a long nose gripper (42) to make the string penetrate into the strands of the rope (R) opened by the rope opening part (20)； and a seed string cutting part (50) installed in the seed string supply part (30) to cut the seed string (S) after the string (S) penetrates into the strands of the rope (R).
