PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biopsy needle which uses a wire and has small puncture resistance, and in which the wire is hardly peeled from the biopsy needle during puncture, and the wire easily cuts a biological tissue.SOLUTION: A biopsy needle 10 of one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a hollow needle part 11 having an injection needle-shaped opening 12 at its tip end； and cutting means comprised of a wire 15 located at the part of the injection needle-shaped opening 12 provided on the tip end side of the hollow needle part 11, and used for cutting biological tissue. An annular groove 14 is formed on the surface of an opening wall 13 of the injection needle-shaped opening 12. The intermediate part of the wire 15 is detachably engaged with/fixed to the annular groove 14, both edge sides thereof are extended to the rear end side of the hollow needle part 11 from the rear end side of the opening wall 13 of the injection needle-shaped opening 12 through the inner part or the outer part of the hollow needle part 11, and the wire is provided in an operable manner from the rear end side of the hollow needle part 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT【課題】ワイヤーを用いた、穿刺抵抗が小さく、穿刺時にワイヤーが生検針から剥がれ難く、ワイヤーによる生体組織の切断を行い易い生検針を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明の一態様の生検針１０は、先端に注射針形状の開口１２を有する中空の針部１１と、中空の針部１１の先端側に設けられた注射針形状の開口１２部分に位置する生体組織を切断するためのワイヤー１５からなる切断手段と、を備え、注射針形状の開口１２の開口壁１３の表面には環状の溝１４が形成されており、ワイヤー１５は、中間部が環状の溝１４内に取り外し可能に嵌合・固定され、両端側がともに注射針形状の開口１２の開口壁１３の後端側から、中空の針部１１の内部又は外部を通って中空の針部１１の後端側まで延在され、中空の針部１１の後端側から操作可能に設けられている。【選択図】図２
