PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil block enabling a seeding, transplantation, cuttage, grafting or the like to be made easily, and to provide such a soil block with a plant cultivated therein.SOLUTION: A soil block is such that: a work hole with its top face open is formed in a block body with soil for plant-cultivating use molded in a block form way where the work hole has a form, size and depth for facilitating an operation such as a seeding, transplantation, cuttage or grafting and is provided with a work section where cultivation soil is packed in the work hole and such the operation can be made easily. In this soil block, the cultivation soil may be bulky or compacted to the extent of being readily crumbled. The cultivation soil can be made the same soil as that of the block body or be different cultivation soil. The soil block may be a single form, linkage form with two or more single soil blocks arranged transversely and connected mutually, or integrated form of a size corresponding to two or more single soil blocks.
