PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid or liquid-like composition for the oral cavity having an excellent effect of suppressing or preventing dryness in the oral cavity.SOLUTION: The liquid or liquid-like composition for the oral cavity having an excellent effect of suppressing or preventing dryness in the oral cavity is obtained by making the blending ratio of water 80 wt.% or higher in a composition of a carbohydrate derivative of &alpha,&alpha-trehalose, a water-soluble polymer, methyl paraoxybenzoate and water.
