PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid cosmetic having a delicate and clear convex-concave pattern formed on the surface thereof and a manufacturing method of the same.SOLUTION: A cutting die 1 having pattern-shaped pores 1a penetrating from the upper face to the lower face is inserted between a sheet material 5 with a press head 4a thereon and a cosmetic 2 charged in a dish-like container 3, and is pressed. Then, a cosmetic different from the charged cosmetic 2, or a powdery raw material such as a coloring material, a pearl material or the like, or a composition comprising a mixture thereof with an oily component is made adhered on the surface of the cosmetic 2. Then, the cutting die is removed.
