PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus that presents an appropriate action candidate after suspension of helical scan to an operator.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus includes an X-ray source 11, an X-ray detector 12, a top plate 33, a scan control function 441, a determination function 445, and a display control function 444. The top plate 33 can be mounted with a subject. The scan control function 441 controls the X-ray source 11, the X-ray detector 12, and the top plate 33, and causes them to execute helical scan. Upon receipt of a helical scan suspension instruction, it causes the helical scan to be suspended. Upon receipt of the helical scan suspension instruction, the determination function 445 determines an action candidate after the suspension according to the time point of the suspension instruction or an elapse of time from a contrast medium injection starting time point.
