PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetation material capable of preventing the browsing damage of vegetation plants by animals and easily layable even in a mountainous area or on a steep slope with a simple construction. SOLUTION: Both ends of an expanded width part Lb of a net 12 having a width wider than the specified width La of the net are attached to both edges of the specified width part La of a vegetation zone 11, and a protection space R having a triangular vertical cross-section is formed between the vegetation zone 11 and the net 12 by a height-keeping member 13 inserted between the vegetation zone 11 and the net 12.
