The device (1), assembled of a housing (5), a container (4) for the substance (M), a nozzle (11), and elements pushing the substance (M) towards the nozzle (11) is used for the application of the viscous substance (M) to a prepared cavity at a tooth. The viscosity of the substance (M) is kept at an appropriate level by a vibration creating device (3). The device (3) and the container (4) are joined across the complete bottom of the vibration creating device (3) and the upper surface of the container (4). Both units (3,4) are movable joined to the housing.
